Law and Order Committee Meeting Held in Rangamati

The Law and Order Committee meeting of Rangamati district was held on Sunday (December 14) at 12 noon in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner.

At the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Najma Ashrafi said, “To keep the situation normal, especially around the elections, everyone must play a responsible role.” She ordered to be on the highest alert to ensure the safety of people’s lives and property.

At this time, Superintendent of Police Md. Abdur Rakib, Additional District Magistrate Alamgir Hossain, Civil Surgeon Dr. Nuen Khisa, Rangamati Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Kamrul Hossain, political leaders and officials of various organizations were present at the meeting.

Various issues including modernization of traffic management, traffic congestion relief, drug control, hill cutting, deforestation, security in tourist areas, development of road communication system and continuing cleanliness drive to build a garbage-free city were discussed in the meeting.
