Newly appointed Minister of the Land Ministry, Mizanur Rahman Minu, said that unprecedented development of land services is possible by ensuring transparency and accountability. Laying utmost importance on ensuring accountability in the land sector, he said that professionalism and sincerity of officials are essential in implementing government policies.
The minister said these things at a view-exchange meeting organized in the meeting room of the ministry on Wednesday (February 18, 2026). State Minister for Land, Barrister Kaiser Kamal, was present at the time.
The State Minister for Land said that as part of the online transformation of land services, registration and land development tax services must be further simplified. The newly appointed Minister and State Minister emphasized on transparent and dynamic land management in light of the new policy, seeking the cooperation of the officials.
Senior Secretary of the Land Ministry, ASM Saleh Ahmed, presented the overall work plan of the ministry in his speech. Senior officials of the ministry and chief officers of various departments were present at the event.
