Kosovo keen to boost cooperation in ports, education and health sectors in Chittagong

Diplomatic Desk:

Kosovo Ambassador to Bangladesh Luljim Plana paid an official visit to Chittagong on 7-8 May 2026. During the visit, he met with senior officials of the Chittagong Port Authority and paid a courtesy call on the Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation, Dr. Shahadat Hossain.

The meeting discussed the prospects for future cooperation between Kosovo and Bangladesh in the fields of trade, logistics, technical and vocational education, healthcare and environmental protection. Both sides expressed interest in strengthening cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.

Ambassador Luljim Plana praised the economic potential of Chittagong and the port-centric commercial activities. He emphasized the need to increase partnerships in various sectors to deepen the relations between the people of the two countries.
