Today, Thursday, March 26, 2026, is Independence and National Day. On this occasion, Khulna Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mr. Mohammad Zahidul Hasan, BPM (Service) paid deep tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed themselves in the great liberation war in 1971 by placing a wreath at the Gallamari Massacre Memorial in the city at sunrise.
Additional Police Commissioner (Crime and Ops) Mr. Mohammad Rashidul Islam Khan, BPM (Service), PPM (Bar); Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic and Protocol) Mr. Muhammad Shahnewaz Khaled, PPM (Service) and senior police officers were present during the tribute.
