KMP Commissioner attends one of the most important religious ceremonies of the traditional religion as an invited guest

On Sunday (18 January 2026) evening, KMP Commissioner Mr. Mohammad Zahidul Hasan, BPM, visited the Shitalabari Temple Committee under Khulna Police Station at the invitation of the committee.

Upon arrival, Dinesh Chandra Das, the chairman of the Nam Yajna Committee, greeted him with flowers. A bridge of mutual respect, cooperation, coexistence and religious harmony was created there. During the visit to the ceremony, the Commissioner expressed his hope that the Khulna Metropolitan Police would always be vigilant so that the people of all communities in Khulna can celebrate their religious festivals and rituals without any hindrance.

Present at the event were KMP Deputy Police Commissioner (South) Mr. Mohammad Tajul Islam, BPM-Seba, Assistant Police Commissioner (Khulna Zone) Mr. Md. Shihab Karim, Officer-in-Charge, Khulna Police Station Mr. Kabir Hossain, Vice-President Arvind Saha, Treasurer Partha Pratim Pal and General Secretary Biplob Kumar Das.
