Speaking as the chief guest at the prayer and discussion meeting organized in memory of former three-time Prime Minister of Bangladesh, uncompromising leader and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, BNP Dhaka Divisional Committee Organizing Secretary Alhaj Kazi Syedul Alam Babul said that a brave and uncompromising leader like Begum Khaleda Zia has rarely been born in this world.
At a prayer meeting organized by Kaliakair Upazila BNP and its affiliated organizations at 6 pm on Saturday (January 3, 2026), he said, “My greetings to everyone present at today’s condolence meeting and prayer meeting. The leader of the country, Begum Khaleda Zia, will be remembered in history as an uncompromising leader because she did not bow her head to anything.”
Kazi Syedul Alam Babul said that the party leaders and workers are now responsible for implementing the dream of Begum Khaleda Zia to establish democracy against authoritarian rule.
“We will work unitedly from each position. Insha Allah, we will ensure the victory of the paddy sheaf in Gazipur-1 constituency.”
He also said, “Everyone has to work together in the field to make the paddy sheaf candidate Mayor Mujibur Rahman victorious. I am making that call today from this prayer mahfil.”
The prayer mahfil was presided over by Parvez Ahmed, former general secretary of Kaliakair Upazila BNP.
Mayor Mujibur Rahman, the BNP nominated candidate in Gazipur-1 constituency, spoke as the main speaker.
