Referring to the government’s 180-day plan, the advisor said that he believes that Japan will remain by Bangladesh’s side as its largest development partner in the coming days as well.

Head of the JICA delegation Tomohide Ichiguchi said that along with infrastructure development, Japan is also interested in working on human resource development in Bangladesh to create employment. For this, he sought the cooperation of the Bangladesh government.

Stating that a project is underway on career planning of administrative cadre officials, the advisor said that if the officials can be trained at home and abroad, their work efficiency will increase manifold.
