On Wednesday, 23 July 2025, JICA Bangladesh Office welcomed 38 Joint Secretaries participating in the Senior Staff Course (SSC) of Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center (BPATC).
At the event, Mr. Ichiguchi Tomohide, Chief Representative of JICA Bangladesh, gave a presentation on various activities of JICA in Bangladesh. In this, he detailed JICA’s role in development cooperation projects, infrastructure, education, health, environment, disaster management and technology sectors.
After the presentation, a lively discussion session was held, where the Joint Secretaries asked various questions about JICA’s activities and exchanged views on future joint initiatives and possible collaborations.
JICA Bangladesh Office thanks all the participating officials for their visit and looks forward to stronger cooperation with the Government of Bangladesh in the future.
