JICA Bangladesh Chief Representative Meets Chief Justice of Bangladesh

On Tuesday (8 July 2025) the Chief Representative of JICA Bangladesh paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. The Registrar General and other senior officials from the Supreme Court were also in attendance.

The Hon’ble Chief Justice conveyed his appreciation for JICA’s longstanding support to the justice sector, particularly in the promotion of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the independence and integrity of the judiciary.

The Chief Representative expressed JICA’s continued willingness to collaborate in advancing judicial reforms, upholding the principles of justice and transparency.

Both parties agreed to continue further dialogue and emphasized the value of data-sharing to guide future cooperation based on identified needs.
