JBCCI Signs MoU with Dhaka Regency Hotel to Strengthen Business Collaboration

The Japan Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JBCCI) has taken a significant step to bolster business collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dhaka Regency Hotel. The ceremony was held at the hotel premises on Monday (November 10, 2025).

The event was attended by key representatives from both organizations, including Mr. Shahid Hamid FIH, Executive Director of Dhaka Regency; Mr. Tareq Rafi Bhuiyan (Jun), President of JBCCI; Mr. Md. Anwar Shahid, Vice President; Mr. AKM Ahmedul Islam BABU, Director; Mr. Rabiul Alam, Director; and Ms. Tahera Ahsan, Executive Director of JBCCI. From Dhaka Regency Hotel, Mr. Mahmud Hassan, Director of Sales and Marketing, also participated in the signing ceremony.

The MoU signifies a mutual commitment to strengthen business ties, encourage collaboration, and explore avenues for joint initiatives that will benefit both parties. This partnership is expected to foster growth and open new opportunities for members of JBCCI and the hospitality sector alike.

Mr. Tareq Rafi Bhuiyan, President of JBCCI, expressed optimism about the partnership, stating that the collaboration with Dhaka Regency Hotel will create a platform for enhanced business engagement and services tailored to the needs of Japanese and Bangladeshi entrepreneurs.
