InterContinental Dhaka’s popular ‘The Great Hilsha Festival’ has resumed with a focus on Bangladesh’s national pride and the “king of fish” Hilsha. Continuing its success from last year, this special event will continue from September 18 to 27 at Elements Global Dining.

Olivier Lauro, Food and Beverage Director of InterContinental Dhaka, Executive Chef Julian Sitole Bottoloro, Marketing Director Sadman Salahuddin and other hotel officials were present at the inaugural ceremony.






This unique culinary festival will feature traditional Hilsa dishes—Hilsa Polao, Sarisha Hilsa, Hilsa Korma, Whole Hilsa Tandoori, Fried Hilsa, Hilsa Khichuri, Hilsa Paturi, Hilsa Leg Bhorta, Hilsa Do Piaza, Hilsa Patal Curry—as well as fusion items like Curried Hilsa Sushi and Hilsa Egg Pizza.
In addition to Hilsa, guests will also be treated to Mutton Kachchi Biryani, Beef Kala Bhuna, Mutton Nehari, various Bhortas, traditional desserts and more. All prepared by the skilled hands of InterContinental Dhaka’s master chefs.
At this festival, guests will get a culinary experience that combines Bengali tradition, taste and innovation.
