InterContinental Dhaka Awarded as Leading Luxury Hotel at SATA 2025

InterContinental Dhaka, the iconic IHG hotel, has once again been honoured with the title of “Leading Luxury Hotel” in Bangladesh at the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2025. The prestigious Gala Award Ceremony took place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where Mr. Rezwan Maruf, Director of Sales & Marketing, proudly accepted the award on behalf of the hotel.

This marks the second time InterContinental Dhaka has secured the Leading Luxury Hotel award, and the third consecutive year the hotel has been recognized at SATA. In previous editions, the hotel has also earned accolades as Bangladesh’s Leading Convention Center and Leading Meeting & Conference Hotel.

The South Asian Travel Awards stands as one of the most respected recognition platforms in the region, celebrating excellence in travel, tourism, and hospitality across Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, and Bhutan—making it one of the most coveted honours in the industry.
