India has come forward to provide assistance to those seriously injured in the tragic crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft in Uttara, Dhaka on Monday (July 21, 2025). Immediately after the accident, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences and assured all possible help and support to Bangladesh.
As part of this commitment, a highly trained team of burn specialist doctors and nurses will soon arrive in Dhaka to provide medical assistance to the burn victims. The team will monitor and treat the burn victims at relevant medical centers including Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
The Indian team of doctors will initially assess the physical condition of the patients and if any of them require advanced treatment, they will be recommended to be taken to India. In addition, there are plans to send additional medical teams with more doctors and equipment if needed.
