ICYF President Meets Bangladeshi Youth and Sports Adviser in Marrakech to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

Taha Ayhan, President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), met with Asif Mahmud, Adviser (Minister) for Youth and Sports of Bangladesh, on Monday (30 June, 2025) during the Opening Ceremony of the Marrakech OIC Youth Capital 2025.

The high-level meeting marked a renewed commitment to fostering stronger ties between ICYF and Bangladesh in the field of youth development. President Ayhan praised Bangladesh for successfully hosting the Dhaka OIC Youth Capital in 2020 and acknowledged the country’s growing role in promoting youth engagement and innovation within the OIC member states.

He also expressed keen interest in launching new joint initiatives in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Bangladesh. During their discussions, both parties explored potential areas for collaboration, particularly in leadership development, entrepreneurship, capacity-building, and cross-border youth exchange programs.
