A meeting was held with respected investors at the initiative of the Barisal branch of the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) on Sunday (May 04, 2025) at the Hotel King Fisher and Restaurant in the city.
The event was presided over by ICB Managing Director Mr. Niranjan Chandra Debnath, and was attended by ICB Board of Directors Honorable Chairman Professor Abu Ahmed as the chief guest and ICB Deputy Managing Director Mr. Md. Nurul Huda as the special guest.
In addition, ICB General Manager Mr. Al-Amin Talukder, General Manager Mr. Md. Habibur Rahman and Assistant General Manager Mr. Kafil Uddin Patwari, ICB Barisal Branch Assistant General Manager and Branch Head Md. Shamim Uddin Ahmed, along with other officers and employees of the Barisal branch were present.
In their speeches, the respected investors present at the meeting expressed their hope that ICB’s role in the development of the capital market, including customer service, restoring good governance in the capital market, and preventing mismanagement, will continue to increase.
