Husne Ara Shikha new spokesperson of central bank

Bangladesh Bank has appointed Husne Ara Shikha, an executive director of the central bank, as its spokesperson.

The decision was taken on Thursday, according to an office order.

Husne Ara Shikha, who joined the central bank as an assistant director in 1996, replaced Md Mezbaul Haque as the spokesperson.

Besides, the central bank appointed Banking Regulation and Policy Department Director Mohammad Shahriar Siddiqui and Communications and Publications Department Director Saeda Khanam as its assistant spokespersons.
