Hefazat leaders meet with Chief Adviser

A meeting was held between Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh leaders and Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna on Saturday (26 July 2025).

The meeting discussed measures to provide necessary compensation to the victims of the Shapla massacre and measures to collect and preserve all information and data related to this incident.

The meeting also discussed taking necessary steps to investigate the attack on Hefazat-e-Islam rally through the United Nations.

The progress in withdrawing false cases filed against Hefazat leaders and activists and clerics during the fascist regime was also discussed.

Maulana Khulil Ahmed Qureshi, Maulana Sajedur Rahman, Mufti Jasim Uddin, Maulana Mahfuzul Haque, Maulana Mohiuddin Rabbani, Maulana Mamunul Haque, Maulana Ahmed Ali Qasemi, Mufti Monir Hossain Qasemi, Mao. Azizul Haque Islamabadi, Mufti Bashir Ullah and Mufti Kefaytullah Azhari were present in the meeting.

Also present were Religious Adviser Dr. A. F. M. Khalid Hossain, Energy Adviser Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan and Industry Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan.
