GTB Bangladesh 2026 and GAPEXPO 2026 will be held from January 14 to 17, 2026, at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka, aiming to showcase the capacity and potential of Bangladesh’s garment backward linkage industry.
The announcement was made at a press conference held on Sunday (January 11, 2026) at Hotel La Vinci in the capital, organised by the Bangladesh Garment Accessories & Packaging Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGAPMEA). Senior officials of BGAPMEA and ASK Traders, including Mr. Tipu of ASK, were present at the event.
Speaking at the press conference, BGAPMEA President Md. Shahriar said that the 15th edition of GAPEXPO 2026 will take place concurrently with Garment Technology Bangladesh 2026 from January 14 to 17 at ICCB’s Hall Nos. 02, 05, 06A, and the Expo Zone. This year, the expo will be spread across 10 halls, including four main halls and hangars.
A total of 350 companies will participate, with nearly 1,500 stalls showcasing products and technologies. Exhibitors from more than 18 countries, including India, Japan, Vietnam, China, South Korea, and Germany, will take part in the exhibition.
The inaugural ceremony will be held on January 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at ICCB Hall No. 02. Former Commerce Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury will attend as the Chief Guest. The Guest of Honour will be Md. Abdur Rahman Khan, FCMA, Secretary of the Internal Resources Division and Chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR). Special Guests include Md. Abdur Rahim Khan, Administrator of FBCCI, and Selim Rahman, Acting President of BGMEA.
The expos are jointly organised by ASK Traders and BGAPMEA. Over the four-day event, the remarkable USD 1.6 billion export success of Bangladesh’s garment accessories and packaging industry will be prominently highlighted.
With more than 1,500 stalls, the exhibition will feature state-of-the-art garment technologies, raw materials, machinery, accessories, and finished products. The event aims to promote import substitution, enhance value addition, and strengthen the overall supply chain of the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector.
According to the organisers, the expo will serve as an important platform for local and international entrepreneurs, buyers, investors, and industry stakeholders to connect, network, and expand business opportunities.
The exhibition will remain open to all visitors daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
