Legal Advisor Professor Asif Nazrul has described the verdict sentencing former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal to death for crimes against humanity committed during the July uprising as the best case of establishing justice.
The Legal Advisor made these remarks in an immediate reaction to journalists at the Secretariat after the verdict on Monday (November 17, 2025).
The Legal Advisor said, “I want to say one more thing today, that is, we will write a letter to India again to extradite Sheikh Hasina to this country.”
