Commerce Advisor Sheikh Bashiruddin said that the investigation into the fire at the cargo village of Shahjalal International Airport is ongoing. The government will publish the report after completing the investigation.
He gave this information to reporters after the inauguration of the 6th National Women’s Baseball Championship 2025 at the Riya Gop Women’s Sports Complex ground in Dhanmondi on Thursday (October 30) morning.
In response to a question from reporters, the Commerce Advisor said that an eight-member expert team from Turkey came to assist in the investigation. They returned to the country today. We expect to receive their report within the next 2/3 days.
He said that their (Turkish expert team) report is not the original, ours will be the original report. The investigation report will be published soon.
In response to another question, Sheikh Bashiruddin said that the unloading of imported goods is now going on through alternative means. Activities will return to normal soon.
