GMP Commissioner Md. Israil Howlader assures of taking expected measures for the welfare of police members

The monthly welfare meeting of Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) was held. The meeting was held at the Gazipur Metropolitan Police Headquarters on Wednesday (January 7, 2026) from 11 am.

The meeting was presided over by the Honorable Police Commissioner of Gazipur Metropolitan Police, Md. Israil Howlader.

Police members of all ranks of GMP were present in the welfare meeting and presented their various demands, problems and opinions. The Police Commissioner listened attentively to the statements of all the members and assured of taking expected measures for the welfare of the police members.

At this time, Police Commissioner Md. Israil Howlader distributed awards among the selected police members based on their performance last month, which created enthusiasm and excitement among the members present.

Additional Police Commissioner (Crime and Operations) of Gazipur Metropolitan Police, Mr. Mohammad Taherul Haque Chauhan, Deputy Police Commissioners, and all levels of police officers and members of GMP were also present at the welfare meeting.
