Prominent Turkish politician and researcher Professor Dr. Yasin Aktai paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. The meeting was held at the Jamaat central office in the capital on Saturday (26 July 2025) evening.
Dr. Yasin Aktai is a former Turkish parliamentarian, former advisor to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and former deputy chairman of the AK Party.
The Jamaat Ameer was accompanied by the party’s Nayeb Ameer and former member of parliament Dr. Syed Abdullah Md. Taher, Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Central Media and Publicity Department Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, and Central Executive Council Member Mubarak Hossain.
