Reza Kibria, son of former Finance Minister Shah AMS Kibria and economist, has officially joined the BNP. He joined the BNP by presenting flowers to the party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the political office of the BNP Chairperson in Gulshan, the capital, on Monday (December 1, 2025).
At the joining ceremony, Reza Kibria said, “I am proud to join the BNP. Today I officially joined the party.”
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir welcomed Reza Kibria and said, “We are very proud that Reza Kibria has joined the BNP. On behalf of our party Chairperson Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, we congratulate him.”
He also said, “We welcome him wholeheartedly and believe that he will further strengthen the party’s democratic struggle.”
