Diplomatic Desk:
The Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Bangladesh, Jiaoqun Shi, paid a courtesy call on Sheikh Faridul Islam, State Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, today, Thursday (30 July 2026).
During the meeting, both sides discussed further strengthening mutual cooperation to ensure sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, climate resilience and food security in Bangladesh. Both sides reiterated their commitment to further enhance and expand existing partnerships in these priority sectors.
