Emerald International School Dhaka (EISD) officially inaugurated its new 3.5-acre Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) Campus, a unique expansion dedicated to the holistic development of students. This state-of-the-art campus has been designed to encourage physical fitness, creativity, social interaction and leadership development.
The inauguration ceremony on Sunday (July 6, 2025) was attended by EISD Principal M. M. Roanoke, Vice Principal Mrs. Khadija Afrin and Judo Gold Medalist Miss Antora Sarmin as special guests. Students, their parents, teachers and members of the school administration gathered together.
Located in a green and peaceful environment in Aminbazar, Savar, this campus is just 30 minutes away from the main campus in Dhanmondi. It will serve as an inspiring learning space for students, where a rich calendar of events, clubs, workshops and sports training will be held regularly.
The new campus features a modern swimming pool, a tranquil pond for the eco-friendly Eco-Club, shaded hammocks and seating areas, ‘Tea Corner’ for social interaction, and expansive green lawns suitable for outdoor classrooms and creative activities. Well-maintained football and basketball courts have been created to engage students in sports, where training and tournaments will be held.
The campus also houses a mosque, which highlights EISD’s commitment to spiritual well-being and inclusion. In addition, spacious dining facilities provide students with nutritious meals, which support an active lifestyle.
This campus is not just an infrastructural development, but also a symbol of EISD’s well-rounded, vibrant and forward-looking educational vision. It will regularly host leadership camps, performing arts rehearsals, and weekend enrichment programs, integrated with the academic year.
