The schedule for the upcoming parliamentary elections will be announced in the first week of December, Election Commissioner (EC) Md. Anwarul Islam Sarkar said.
He made this known while talking to reporters at Patuakhali Circuit House on Friday (October 31, 2025) afternoon.
Senior Secretary of the Election Commission Secretariat Akhtar Ahmed, Patuakhali Deputy Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Shahid Hossain Chowdhury and other officials of the local administration were present at the function.
