The Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, has extended a special message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah, he stated that the blessed month of mercy, forgiveness, and salvation has come to an end, providing an opportunity for self-purification. He prayed to the Almighty that the blessings of this sacred month cleanse our lives of all sins and mistakes, making us spiritually pure.
Highlighting the significance of Eid, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, “This is not just a festival of joy but an occasion of self-reflection and goodwill. May Allah, the Lord of all worlds, forgive our sins, guide us toward Jannah, and protect us from the punishment of Jahannam.”
He called upon the people of the country to uphold peace, harmony, and mutual compassion. He emphasized that Eid should serve as a means to unite everyone, setting aside differences and fostering brotherhood.
Extending his heartfelt Eid greetings to the nation, he said, “Let us embrace the true teachings of Eid and work together to build a peaceful and harmonious society.”
