Dr. M A Quayum’s determination to build a drug- and terror-free Dhaka-11

The nomination of Dr. M A Quayum, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate for the Dhaka-11 parliamentary constituency, has been declared valid. After scrutinizing the candidature, the election authority declared his nomination valid. Through this, his participation as a BNP candidate in the upcoming national parliamentary election in the Dhaka-11 constituency has been confirmed.

After declaring the validity of the nomination, Dr. M A Quayum spoke to the media. He is currently the BNP’s Microfinance Affairs Secretary and the former founding president of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP.

At this time, Dr. M A Quayum, the former founding president of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP, said, “I express my gratitude to the Almighty God. At the same time, I express my sincere gratitude to BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and the local committee of the party for nominating me for the Dhaka-11 constituency.” Today, his nomination was declared valid in the verification of candidatures, which is an important step in the path of democratic politics.

Calling on all media workers, Dr. M. A. Quayum said, “I request all the media of this constituency to cooperate. You will present correct and objective information to the public. At the same time, if we have any mistakes, we will also fearlessly highlight them. The independent and responsible role of the media is very important for democracy.”

The BNP Microfinance Affairs Secretary said, “With the cooperation of the people of Dhaka-11 constituency and the constructive role of journalists, this constituency will be turned into an ideal constituency. I believe that with the cooperation of the people of Dhaka-11 constituency and your cooperation, we will be able to develop this area as a constituency free from drugs, terrorism and extortion, InshaAllah.”

This leader of the soil and people of Dhaka-11 constituency also said, “The people of the country were deprived of voting rights for a long time. The people have regained their right to vote through a mass uprising.” It is now everyone’s responsibility to protect this achievement. This right to vote cannot be exercised alone, but it must be used properly.

The BNP leader said that it is very important to change the political culture of the past to establish a welfare state. He said that we have to come out of the culture of conflict, revenge and repressive politics. The main goal of politics should be to ensure the welfare of the people and civil rights.

Dr. M. A. Quayum expressed optimism and said that the elections will be held in a harmonious and peaceful environment in Dhaka-11 constituency. He expects that all political parties and candidates will participate in the elections maintaining democratic behavior.

Dr. M. A. Quayum said that if elected, he will give special importance to the education, health, employment and social security sectors of the area. In addition, sports and social activities will be strengthened to keep the youth away from drugs and crime.

Enthusiasm and enthusiasm have been seen among BNP leaders and activists in Dhaka-11 constituency, focusing on the declaration of the nomination as valid. The leaders and activists feel that Dr. BNP will be able to build a strong position in this constituency under the leadership of M A Quayum.

At the end of the press conference, Dr. M A Quayum told the media that this election is not just about coming to power, it is an election to restore democracy and human rights. I believe that the people of Dhaka-11 constituency will vote in favor of truth, justice and welfare.
