Dr. M A Quayum alleges ‘election engineering’ in Dhaka-11 constituency, demands recount of votes

Online Desk:

Dr. M A Quayum has alleged ‘election engineering’ in Dhaka-11 constituency and demanded a recount of votes.

He made this allegation at a press conference organized at his election office in Gudaraghat in the capital on Friday (February 13).

At the press conference, M A Quayum claimed that NCP leader Nahid Islam was defeated in a planned manner to win. Alleging irregularities and rigging in the vote counting, he said that the real picture will not come out unless the results are re-verified and the votes are recounted.

He said that a written complaint has already been filed with the Election Commission in this regard.
