The 76th meeting of the Management Council of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Welfare Fund has been held. The meeting was presided over by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali, ndc.
The meeting was held on Monday (5 May 2025) morning at the conference room of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Headquarters.
In the meeting, a total of 1 crore 10 lakh 40 thousand taka was unanimously approved in favor of a total of 175 applications for financial assistance for the medical expenses of police and non-police members of this fund for themselves, husband, wife, son, daughter, father, mother, which is the highest approved allocation of financial assistance provided from the DMP Welfare Fund so far.
In the meeting, DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali instructed all those present to facilitate the process so that the force can get more financial assistance from the Welfare Fund.
In this important meeting, various important issues were discussed and decisions were taken for the welfare of the DMP Welfare Fund, future plans and the welfare of the police members.
Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic) Md. Sarwar, PPM-Services, Additional Police Commissioner (Admin) Faruk Ahmed; Additional Police Commissioner (Crime and Operations) S, N, Md. Nazrul Islam, PPM; Additional Police Commissioner (Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime) Md. Masud Karim; Additional Police Commissioner (Logistics, Finance and Procurement) Hasan Md. Shawkat Ali, along with Joint Police Commissioners and Deputy Police Commissioners were present in the meeting. The meeting was moderated by Additional Deputy Police Commissioner (Welfare and Sports) Mr. Masud Rana.
