The Danish Embassy, Bangladesh recently hosted a reception in honour of the members of the Danida Fellowship Centre (DFC) Alumni Network. The network, which consists of multi-faceted professionals from Bangladesh who have completed various DFC trainings, is currently making a significant contribution by applying knowledge, skills and experience in various sectors of the country.

Speaking at the event, Danish Ambassador to Bangladesh Christian Brix Møller said that the DFC Alumni Network is playing a supportive role in strengthening Bangladeshi institutions – as members of the network are using modern skills, updated sector knowledge and practical tools in the workplace. At the same time, the network is advancing the long-term partnership between Denmark and Bangladesh, which further strengthens sustainable professional exchange and cooperation.

The Ambassador further noted that the network is being run entirely on a voluntary basis, which is a shining example of local ownership – one of the cornerstones of Denmark’s international cooperation policy. It also serves as an effective platform for knowledge exchange between government agencies and professionals working in relevant sectors.

The DFC Alumni Network is a valuable asset for both countries. It extends beyond the training program to include professional development, knowledge transfer and collaboration. The Embassy would like to express its sincere gratitude to all alumni members for their continued participation and contributions.
