Democracy earned through blood must be protected: Whip M. Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu

Whip of the Bangladesh National Parliament M. Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu, MP said that democracy has been restored through a long 17-year democratic movement and the sacrifices of the people. He said that this democracy earned through blood must be protected.

On Saturday (April 4, 2026), at the Tafazzal Hossain Manik Mia Hall of the National Press Club, Bangladesh National Parliament Whip Adv. M. Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu, MP made these remarks as the chief guest at the ‘Eid Punmirlani and Gunijan Sambardhana’ program organized by the Natore District Journalists’ Association, Dhaka, moderated by former Health Secretary Saidur Rahman.

He said that the current government is in favor of reforms by upholding the July Charter. It will be possible to make the necessary reforms through parliamentary debate. The current government is trying to protect the people’s right to vote and freedom of speech.

Whip mentioned that everyone should work together to make Natore a prosperous city. Everyone should be engaged in the welfare of the people.

Natore-4 constituency MP Abdul Aziz, Natore-3 constituency MP Anwarul Islam Anu delivered speeches at the event.

During this time, the eminent people and general public of Natore district raised their demands for the improvement of the overall infrastructure including educational institutions and roads and ghats in the area. Whip was presented with a commemorative plaque and crest by the association at the event.

The president, general secretary and members of the Natore District Journalists Association, various eminent people from Natore district, general public of Natore district and various media workers were present at the event.
