Condolences on the death of Begum Khaleda Zia on the first day of the budget session of the Indian Parliament

On the first day of the budget session of the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament, the country’s lawmakers expressed deep shock and condolences on the death of former Prime Minister of Bangladesh and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

According to the Indian news agency Free Press Journal, the budget session of the Lok Sabha began on Wednesday (January 28). Condolences were moved on the deaths of various important personalities before the session began.

The condolence motion mentioned the names of the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, five former members of the Lok Sabha and former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Begum Khaleda Zia, who died in a plane crash. At this time, all the MPs present in the Lok Sabha stood and observed silence and expressed deep condolences and respect to the deceased.
