A delegation led by former Ghanaian President and Commonwealth Observer Team member William Nana Addo Dankowa Akufo-Addo paid a courtesy call on the Bangladesh Army Chief of Staff at the Army Headquarters on Tuesday (February 10, 2026).
During the meeting, besides exchanging greetings, the overall law and order and security situation in the country with a focus on the upcoming national elections were discussed. In particular, views were exchanged on the preparations and activities undertaken to maintain peace and stability in the election environment and ensure the safety of international observers.
