Citizen Information Collection Week 2025 begins in Wari Division

With the determination to build a Bangladesh free of drugs, terrorism and militancy, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has started Citizen Information Collection Week 2025 in Wari Division. The main goal of this initiative is to create a reliable and modern database of citizens’ information to build a safe and secure society.

According to the Wari Division of DMP, this special week is being celebrated from Saturday, June 21 to June 27 with the theme ‘The days of hiding are over, a Bangladesh free of drugs, terrorism and militancy’. During this period, information of new landlords and tenants will be collected. In addition, the information of those who had previously provided information but later changed their homes will be updated.

As part of this initiative, information of family members of citizens, such as wives, children, domestic workers and drivers, will also be collected. Through the collection of this information, an accurate, reliable and complete database will be created, which will play an important role in maintaining law and order.

To make Citizen Information Collection Week 2025 a success, the Wari Division has called on all citizens to come forward to provide information.
