On Monday (January 12, 2026) morning, Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Mr. Yao Wen paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman at his office in Bashundhara in the capital. The Ambassador was accompanied by Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) Dr. Liu Yuyin, Political Director Mr. Zhang Jing, Mr. Ru Qi (Raki) and Miss Nafisa (Liang Shuyin). The meeting was held in a very cordial and cordial atmosphere.

During the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador and the Ameer-e-Jamaat discussed various issues of mutual interest between the two countries. The historical friendship between China and Bangladesh continues to play a very important role in the welfare of the peoples of the two countries, development cooperation, mutual trade and cultural exchanges. They expressed their hope that this relationship will be further strengthened in the future.

Present with the Ameer-e-Jamaat during the meeting were the organization’s Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Central Publicity and Media Department, Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, eminent educationist Dr. Zubair Ahmed, Development Team Lead Mr. Dewan Alamgir, and Ameer-e-Jamaat’s Foreign Affairs Advisor Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan.
