Chinese Ambassador meets BNP leaders to enhance mutual understanding and communication between Bangladesh and Chinese political parties

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen met with BNP leaders in a courtesy call and meeting on Tuesday (July 8, 2025). The meeting was held at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan, the capital.

The delegation led by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was also attended by the party’s National Standing Committee members Mirza Abbas, Dr. Abdul Moin Khan, Selima Rahman and BNP Chairperson’s Private Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar.

The meeting discussed various aspects of bilateral relations, regional cooperation and enhancing mutual understanding and communication between Bangladesh and Chinese political parties.

Both sides expressed their determination to further deepen China-Bangladesh bilateral relations and emphasized on increasing party-to-party (party-level) cooperation in the future.
