CAG submits 38 audit reports to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman

Desk Report:

A total of 38 compliance and performance audit reports prepared on 17 ministries and divisions of the government and various directorates, offices, institutions and projects under them have been submitted to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman before being presented in the National Assembly.

This Tuesday (5 May 2026) morning, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of Bangladesh Md. Nurul Islam went to the Prime Minister’s Office at the Cabinet Division of the Bangladesh Secretariat and presented these reports.

Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani, Finance Secretary Dr. Khayeruzzaman Majumder and senior officials of the concerned ministries and divisions were present at the time.
