BTMA holds interactive session with NITER teachers and officers

A special session titled “Interactive Session with Teachers & Officers, NITER” organized by Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) was held on Thursday (April 10, 2025) at the Crystal Palace Hall of Gulshan Club in the capital.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Governing Body of NITER and Honorable President of BTMA, Mr. Shawkat Aziz Russell, as the chief guest. He assured all-round cooperation to develop NITER as a modern and world-class educational institution. He laid special emphasis on the active participation of teachers and students in technical education development, research and innovative activities. He also shed light on the formulation of new laws to ensure infrastructural development, internal discipline, transparency and accountability.

The special guest of the event was Brigadier General S. M. Zahid Hasan, Chairman of BTMC and member of the Governing Body of NITER.

The special invited guests were Mr. Md. Monir Hossain, Mr. Muha. Khorshed Alam, Mr. Abdullah Al Mamun, Mr. Hossain Mehmud, members of the Governing Body of NITER and directors of BTMA – Mr. Prof. Dr. Ashequl Alam Rana, and Director of NITER.

The honorable Secretary General of BTMA, Brigadier General Md. Zakir Hossain (Retd.) and other high-ranking officials of the organization were present at the event.

Newly appointed teachers and officials of NITER also participated in this session. Through this interactive event, the participants were informed about the future development plans of the organization and exchanged views with a view to making it more effective and up-to-date.
