British High Commission pays tribute at Mainamati War Cemetery

On Saturday (November 8, 2025), the British High Commission, various diplomatic missions in Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Army paid tribute to the brave martyrs of World War II at the Mainamati War Cemetery in Comilla.

The guests present at the event observed a moment of silence in honour of all the brave soldiers who died in the war and laid wreaths in remembrance of their sacrifice.

Diplomats from various countries posted in Bangladesh were also present at the event and respectfully remembered the contributions of the wounded and deceased soldiers.
