The BNP Standing Committee has convened an emergency meeting to decide on the post-death activities of party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
The meeting was held at 12:35 pm on Tuesday (December 30, 2025) at the Chairperson’s office in Gulshan, chaired by the party’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee members Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Abdul Moin Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Salah Uddin Ahmed, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Selima Rahman, AZM Zahid Hossain, Hafiz Uddin Ahmed were present at the meeting.
