BNP organizes ‘Gono-ovvutthan 2024: Jatio Oikya o Gonotrantik Ovijatra’ program is underway

A discussion meeting titled ‘Gono-ovvutthan 2024: Jatio Oikya o Gonotrantik Ovijatra’ and a special program in honor of the martyred families, organized by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), began this Tuesday (July 01, 2025) afternoon.

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is present as the chief guest at the program. The party’s acting chairman, Mr. Tarique Rahman, is participating virtually as the opening speaker.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and top national leaders of the party are present as special guests. Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Convener, July-August Gono-ovvutthan, Mourning and Anniversary Celebration Committee is presiding.

The event was attended by family members of the martyrs of the historic 2024 mass uprising, injured activists, and democracy-loving people from various classes and professions.
