BIDA Hosts Breakfast Meeting with Chinese Business Associations to Address Investment Challenges

A breakfast meeting hosted by Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) was convened on Wednesday (2 July, 2024) at BIDA office at Agragaon, Dhaka, participated by BIDA high officials, members from Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCCI) , Chinese Enterprises Association of Bangladesh (CEAB) and Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh (OCAB).

Mr Chowwdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, Executive Chairman of BIDA and State Minister graced the meeting as the Chief Guest. BCCCI was represented by Mst. Nargis Murshida, Administrator of BCCCI and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Mr Han Jingchao, Member, BCCC I and Managing Director, China Goldview Resource Co. Ltd., Mr Chao Chongchong, Member, BCCCI and Managing Director , Huisida International BD Ltd, and Mr Abu Taher Office Secretary of BCCCI.

The meeting focused on the problems for the Chinese enterprises in Bangladesh and was enlightened by thoughtful insights aiming at addressing the problems considering impact of these on Bangladesh China bilateral trade, commerce and investment.
