Bhutanese Ambassador Pays Courtesy Call on Jamaat Ameer

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman was paid a courtesy call by Bhutanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ms. Dasho Karma Hamu Dorji. The meeting was held at 9 am on Monday (September 29, 2025) at the office of the Ameer-e-Jamaat in Bashundhara, the capital.

The ambassador was accompanied by Counselor of the Bhutanese Embassy Mr. Jigdrel Y. Tshering. The meeting was held in a cordial and cordial atmosphere.

During the meeting, both sides openly discussed various issues of mutual interest between Bangladesh and Bhutan. They expressed their firm determination to further strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations and continue the trend of development and progress in the future.

Also present at the meeting were Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Central Propaganda and Media Department of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, and Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan, Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Ameer-e-Jamaat.
