BGMEA–Stanley Stella Discuss Financing for SMEs and a Unified Code of Conduct

BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan, BGMEA Director Nafis-ud-Doula and Stanley Stella’s Sustainability Director held a high-level meeting at the BGMEA Complex on Wednesday (17 September, 2025) to discuss advancing sustainability and social responsibility in Bangladesh’s apparel sector.

Key agenda items included the adoption of renewable energy, reducing carbon (Scope 3) emissions, accelerating green transition, financing for small and medium enterprises, and formulating a unified Code of Conduct.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to work together for a sustainable and responsible future of the garment industry.
