BGMEA Directors Nafis-Ud-Doula and Shah Rayeed Chowdhury along with industry leaders met with John Lyttle, Managing Director of Marks & Spencer and Monique Leeuwenburgh, Director of Sourcing & Technology at Marks & Spencer (M&S), in Dhaka on Wednesday (2 July, 2025).
During the meeting, they discussed key issues and opportunities in the ready-made garment industry, including the growth potential of M&S’s business in Bangladesh.
Both sides discussed ways to strengthen collaboration and expressed optimism about creating a mutually beneficial partnership for M&S and the apparel industry.
Also present was Shwapna Bhowmick, Head of Bangladesh and India Operations for the British retail giant M&S.
