FIFA e-World Cup 2025 is going to be held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, in December this year under the management of FIFA. To participate in the main event, players will have to overcome the challenges of the qualifiers. As part of this arrangement, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has decided to organize the qualifiers in the country.

BFF President Tabith Awal officially announced the matter at a press conference on Sunday (August 24, 2025). He said, “Bangladesh will soon go far in e-games. Even if we cannot participate in all the events in the first journey, we hope to get the opportunity to play in at least one event in the World Cup in Riyadh. There are also plans to organize it in collaboration with BPL clubs at the local level.”
This World Cup, to be held on a virtual field, will have three events—e-football console, e-football mobile and Rocket League. With nearly 53 percent of the world’s e-gamers participating from Asia, the region is expected to have a dominant position in the competition.
