BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at the capital’s Evercare Hospital, has been transferred from the cabin to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter at around 1 pm on Thursday (November 27, 2025), quoting Begum Khaleda Zia’s personal physician Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.
Dr. Zahid Hossain said that Begum Khaleda Zia has been kept under close observation in the CCU under the supervision of local and foreign experts under the Medical Board. He said that her physical condition is being closely monitored.
The party has requested the countrymen to seek prayers for Khaleda Zia’s speedy recovery.
