On Tuesday (2 September 2025), trainees of the 27th Policy Planning and Management Course (PPMC) and the 78th Foundation Training Course (FTC) attended a special session titled “LDC Graduation of Bangladesh: Opportunities and Challenges.”

The session was conducted by Mr. Sk. Bashir Uddin, Adviser to the Ministry of Commerce. He highlighted Bangladesh’s diverse opportunities in trade, investment and export market expansion in the context of its graduation from LDC status, along with a realistic view of the structural challenges involved.
He also made special mention of the sacrifices of youth during July–August 2024, describing them as a source of renewed responsibility and inspiration for sustainable progress in the country’s development journey.
