Bangladesh Embassy, ​​Bahrain organizes mobile consular camp for expatriates in East Riffa

The Bangladesh Embassy, ​​Manama has organized a special mobile consular camp to increase the services and awareness of expatriate Bangladeshis in East Riffa area of ​​Bahrain. Representatives of various government institutions and international organizations of Bahrain participated in the camp held at Naila Al-Nashmi Events Hall on Friday (14 November 2025).

The camp provided all types of consular and labor welfare services to expatriate Bangladeshis, including passports, birth registration, legal advice, Wage Earners membership registration, free medical consultation. In addition, important advice was given on Bahrain’s laws and restrictions, traffic laws, visa amendments, workers’ rights and healthcare. Representatives from the Bahrain Traffic Department were also present.

His Excellency the Ambassador of Bangladesh, Md. Rais Hassan Sarwar, NDC, personally listened to the problems of the expatriates and tried to find immediate solutions. In his speech, he expressed gratitude for the presence of foreign guests and highlighted the need for such awareness-raising events for the welfare of expatriates. He further said that this initiative has been taken with the aim of protecting the rights of expatriates and facilitating services.

Other officials and employees of the embassy also participated in the seminar and camp. A large number of expatriates from Rifa, Ali and surrounding areas participated in it and received various services. The visiting expatriates expressed their satisfaction with this initiative and service of the embassy.
